I`ve played in this league, IFFL, for long time and i guess i`m bias but it`s a pretty well run and competitive league. Lately, i see a lot of people saying that the other league, F**, has better competition. Would it be cool if somehow someway Josh/Tom can set up a game where our A championship team play with their A championship team and put to rest the debate which league has better competition. |

Josh, what if we could pull that off? Ten of their teams vs ten of ours. Think up some cause. Say its raising money for "The Uplifting of Fairfax" or something. Two to three week tournament. That way IFFL can grow some more due to the exposure. Plus their teams, and whoever their commissioner is, will see for themselves IFFL has better competition. |

i`ve played in both, iffl is def better than F X A. Our refs alone are better as they are legit refs and the other league uses random people. Look at how Primetime came into IFFL and thought they could hang...that didn`t last long at all. There`s a reason they stay in that league. Its just a waste of money for them to register in IFFL |

Vet. The scenario that you were requesting happened last summer. FXA put on a tourney in July to raise money for the renovations to their fields. You had FXA teams and IFFL teams playing. We, Stone Cold, and 7 pt. were the last teams standing after 5 games a piece in one day.
It was a great game between two IFFL teams. Nobody remembers who came in below 1& 2. We played using their rules also. It`s not even close.
They have changed their rules to come closer to what we do. Their "Elite League" championship team went to Staes and got housed. Guys on that team play in our league, and they will tell you which league has more comp. Play where you want and good on you, but you can only be "the people`s champ" for so long. |

@ SC Big T #00...oh really, didn`t know that. Well then... |

Put it to rest already.
The only players comparing the two leagues are the players playing in IFFL. |

IFFL is head and shoulders above FXA - without question |

Quality | 8:50 PM |
Big Sky Conference has more teams than the Big 10. Does that mean they`re the stronger conference? Quality over quantity. First year we ever played we went 4-3 in FXA. Next season came to IFFL and went 1-6 in C. Competition is far better here. |

Primetime | 08:04 AM |
Great example! They came in last Spring in the weeknight league talking all kinds of ish on the boards and on the field from jump. They got taken out to the woodshed in the first game by Gameface to the tune of 3 TDS. They were supposed to be FXA`s best by far, and they got punished each week.
A lot of guys in this league play FXA because they want some recreational burn for the real games. Or guys play there to hang with friends. FXA is a "social" league by their own admission. Look at the way they market the league on their site. Josh/tom know that they don`t have to market this league by saying come hang out with your buddies. That`s just silly when you want competition.
The point of "more" teams is for fun leagues. That`s recreational. I`d love to see an FXA guy talk about how they have a better league. Our B league champs would be a close game with their top team. My money is on our guys. |

$$$ Matters | 09:42 AM |
Regardless of "competition" the fact remains the same, josh & tom aren`t making the same type of money as FXA b/c they AREN`T marketing as well. It`s not about the social league aspect, they know we are better BUT they also know that the make waayy more $$$ too. In order to be the OVERALL top dog, IFFL has to figure out a way to market better to "social" players b/c IF NOT they`ll always be #1 competitively BUT #2 WHEN IT COMES TO MONEY!!!
That`s what I`d want to be if I`m Commisioner of the league
CVFA IS #1 in BOTH, why can`t we?
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.... |

this point is just silly, you are not the commissioner for any league, everyone has a different "drive".....Thank you Tom & Josh, keep doing what you are doing, especially when it comes to fund raising events i.e., BarkBowl, etc. |

IFFL Blows out FXA.. Not even a comparison. The best team in FXA couldn`t even make it out of the first round of states. I have a lot of friends who play in both leagues and they will all say IFFL has the better teams |
|
hmmmm | 11:05 PM |
both league have good athletes and good teams. However, with the style of play FXA uses - it like touch football with some wacky rules. IFFL and FCFFL are better because of style of play , referees and overall team talent. FXA has a few good teams , but they have several of the IFFL/FCFFL players on them.If you compare leagues - it is like comparing a chevette to a corvette. They both have similar parts , but when you put the package together - one is clearly better than the other . |
