All,

I plan on closing registration for Week 1 by Thursday. I will still accept late registrations, but with some caveats that will be worked out with any late registering teams.

A couple reminders for this upcoming season:

Turf Fields - No smoking, no sunflower seeds, no pets and no folding chairs. I know this seems strict, but we worked hard to get these fields and I expect everyone to follow the rules so we can keep them. Pick up your trash before you leave the field!!

Cursing - Don`t forgot, it`s a 15 yard penalty the first time, an ejection the second time. Hasn`t changed, never will. Goes back to keeping our field space. Especially at the EC Lawrence fields, we`ll have kids and their parents right behind us. Keep it in check and be respectful.

Stats - If you want your stats, wear a numbered shirt. This is a rule and we`ve been lax in enforcing it. I`m going to ask the officials to be stricter about it this season.

New teams, make sure you have flags. We don`t provide them in this league. If you want them cheap, CVFA sells them on their store (they sell shirts/jerseys too).

No folding chairs ??? The soccer and lacrosse parents use them , so why can`t we ?

Will the A teams play each other twice or have games against teams from the B league to fill out their schedules?

Tell refs to enforce this cause they dont!

Wow, that`s crazy, I know some teams need the work but 11 teams in B, and only 6 in A is ridiculous
