Please explain the Divisional Break Down!!!

Curious Players!!!00:17 AM

Having trouble understanding the break down of "A", "B" and "B+" teams and how they select which division they want to play!

For example: Seeing Last Fall Lazy WINS B+ (lower "A" division and has been "A" team for years) and the Rebels WIN B Fall division and Outcast WINS Spring B division and all these teams should be in "A" but they have selected the "B" division to play for the Fall 2013 season!

Does this sound fishy or what??

Are they scared to face the "A" teams that are signed up in the league already!

There has to be some kind of set standard for these teams that PLAY in "A" or should be in "A" and do better than 40% the prior year or taken their division and should move up and stay there at least 2 seasons or more even thou their coach may say they lost players and re-cooping!

And the teams trying to move up keeps getting only half the games as WIN`s if possible and lose out that season or the following season against "A" league teams that want to drop back a divisions so they can setup for STATES!!

And the teams trying to get something started in this league with even a partial winning season end up losing their players due to competing "A" teams!

Please explain!

“A” league will be filled with any team that made the “A” playoffs in the IFFL and or FCFFL league last spring and or fall, and the top 4 B teams as well.

When does the divisions get posted or finalized with the changes as stated above for the Fall season?

And if there is NOT ENOUGH teams to make a division - What happens then for the season?

ummm9:56 PM

the B division looks to be competitive, so let`s wait till the season starts to start crying.

true9:57 PM

The B division seems to have pretty equal teams. I don`t see a clear winner .

who is curious players10:27 PM

What is really the problem ? You stated exactly why the B division will be competitive and the Warriors seem legit , so who is left to complain ?

Last year, it was A, B+, and B. In other words, you could call it A, B, and C. Lazy won B+, which is equivalent to "B-league" and therefore should go up to A. Rebels won B, which is equivalent to "C-league", and therefore should go up to B, which it appears as if they did.

Hello11:23 PM

Move outcast, outlaws, lazy, imposters, infamous, and swarm to A, rest can play in B, this would include the C teams Could throw Rebels in that mix if one of them doesn`t make sense.

Good chance something like that will happen

ummm11:52 PM

lazy , outlaws and Imposters should be in A . Next would be Rebels, Swarm and Outcast. Don`t know why Outlaws and Lazy dropped and why Imposters didn`t move up.

Will there be stats this season?

Yes.

Do you think it`s hurting or helping the league to have so many diffrent days and time slots. Looks like it maybe thinning it out to much.

Do you think it`s hurting or helping the league to have so many diffrent days and time slots. Looks like it maybe thinning it out to much.

I think at first glance it could appear that way but I think we`re doing okay actually and here`s why.

First, right now we`re at 23 registered teams on Sundays, and I know of at least 2 more that I expect to join. Last Fall we had 23 teams on Sundays, so if both of those teams come in that`s growth.

I also think adding Sunday nights will do nothing but help going forward as a lot of teams would rather play Sunday night than Sunday morning.

I`d also point out, it`s not like we`re getting killed by competition right now. Our closest competitor only has 29 men`s teams registered between Sundays and Thursdays. They had 36 last Fall.

It`s also worth pointing out that Fall is always a smaller turnout for us. The NFL is back, College football is back, guys kids start playing football, its colder and people don`t want to play.

So no, I`m not discouraged and I don`t think we`ve over-extended ourselves. I do think Sunday nights may become the future of this league, but for now there`s plenty of teams who want to play both so we`ll stay with it.

Yea but skill wise they are wayyyyy below us

maybe9:53 PM

The other league has skilled players , but not many really good teams. they always play open so the same teams are crushing the others . look at the records of the top two or three teams. They are running the league. Kinda hard to measure a league when the same teams are winning year in and year out.

Yes , but2:05 PM

This league has more skilled teasms and is more competitive across the board . Whereas the other league only has two or three good teams and after that there is a major drop off . In these leagues - there are about 9 or 10 good team with some sleepers.Miller has a point , but you have to look at the league as a whole , not just a few teams or players.

You must be a bunch of jokers. I will take any A team (in our league) that finishes in the top 4 during playoffs to win the `ship in that poo poo other league.

When are we gonna see the schedules ?

RE: Screw That8:20 PM

Registration closes on Wednesday Sept 11th, so most likely Thursday Evening

Lets go!!!12:50 PM

Can`t wait until next Sunday!

I played both leagues. Our league has a decided edge in big athletic line man. Which makes a huge difference. And is why I would take most teams over the other leagues teams.

Orange Assault has come over to the weeknight league. A ton of good athletes, but how will they adjust to having a smaller line?
