05/19 : Collision destroys Monarchs 48-0

Collision improves to 7-0 in the late stretch of the season, while Monarchs drop to 2-3.

This is the most points scored in a game this season by Collision and the most points scored by a team so far this season but not in recorded league history (Pain beat Child Please 58-0 on Apr 29 2012, 09:00). This is the fifth time Collision shutout an opponent this season. The victory continues a 6 game winning streak for Collision which now stands at 7 wins in a row.

This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Monarchs, and the first time Monarchs failed to score against an opponent this season. The loss continues a 2 game skid for Monarchs which now stands at 3 losses in a row.

This was the first meeting between these two teams.

no excuses but the commish could have scheduled us to play them first as we had a double header...might would have scored atleast once...but we played everybody we should c and hopefully can scheme up something for the playoffs

However, just for the record, if you look at history, teams who play a second game against a team who hasn`t played yet usually do better than the team who hasn`t played. The first game usually is a nice warm up. Also worth noting that almost ALL of our playoff games (and tournaments) will require you to play more than one game in a day if you want to win it all. Sunday nights won`t be any different.

to agree with that. An experienced team with a lot of talented players will lose to an experienced team with a some talented players. If you and your team were THAT talented, it would not have been 48-0. Not saying you guys don`t have talent, but it`s clear you are not "by far way more talented" than the team that beat you 48-0.

I`ve played against the Monarchs. They`ve got some pretty athletic players, but haven`t grasped the concept of it just being flag football. No one is going to put on the pads, because that`s not what we`re here for. They may get better over time, but their inability to just accept that they need a lot of work to improve will haunt them. They seem to be more focused on individual glory and showing people up. Unfortunately for them, they haven`t beat a legitimate team all season.

This is my in depth analysis. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I`m also a homosexual so I would appreciate it if you would stop using homophobic slurs on this board as it makes me feel further insecure about myself and keeps me from posting by logging in.
