05/19 : Monarchs breeze by Cedars 23-8

Monarchs improve to 3-3 on the season, while Cedars drop to 1-6.

The victory snapped a 3 game losing streak for Monarchs.

The loss continues a 5 game skid for Cedars which now stands at 6 losses in a row.

This was the first meeting between these two teams.

How come no one be talkin ish now! This legue a bunch of posers.

i remember the double header excuse #2 gave when you guys got blown out by collision... you guys needed to spend all of that energy playing a 1-6 team.

Can we stop calling it Semi-Pro? Most of these "semi-pro" leagues are just adult leagues. These semi-pro leagues are not a minor league, are not part of a farm system. And there are some teams, not all, but some teams that will take any one just to fill out their roster.I showed up to combine for the VA Steelers a couple years back. I don`t know how the Steelers really compare to some of the other teams. But to me, it was mainly a bunch of guys who really enjoy playing tackle football or were trying to relive their glory days. Just my opinion. And I`m just a guy.

Quick question, how much do you make playing semi-pro?

It doesn`t cost that much to play, but the respeckt we earn on the field is worth it. Semi-Pro is for men...flag is for pussies!

You gain absolutley no respect from acting like a 2nd grader and calling people names. BTW, if flag is so soft, why are you playing it?

You don`t like flag football, it is obvious. You prefer tackle football much better than flag football.
