The playoff format for the Spring 2012 IFFL season will be as follows:

3 Brackets of play `A`, `B` and `C`, divided by division standings.

The `A` bracket will consist of 12 teams, made up of the top 3 from each division. The division winners will receive a first round bye.

The `B` bracket will consist of 8 teams, made up of the 4th and 5th place teams from each division. There will be no byes for the `B` bracket.

The `C` bracket will consist of 8 teams, made up of the 6th and 7th place teams from each division. There will be no byes for the `C` bracket.

More than likely you should plan on playing a doubleheader for the first and second round of the playoffs. We usually try and finish the playoffs in two weeks because of Summer vacations etc.

so will the playoff carry over pass Memorial Day Wkend?

Is there OT for the Sunday games? We were told at EC Lawrence there was no OT for Sunday anymore but it looks like folders went to OT?

My understanding is we put OT back in last season. I`ll clarify with Shay and Tom.

Do teams hold head to head tie breakers when it comes to play off spots? Or is it all point differential?

Head to head is the first tie-breaker.

Probably not, I don`t think we have the field space/times to accommodate that. Still working on how we`re going to schedule everything, will try and have an update very soon.
