This week we played our playoff game at Herndon. First, I want to state that Vegas played a great game and the victory did go to the better team that day. Vegas beat us 14-0. Now my issue is with the Ref`s and I will explain why so it doesn`t sound like i am making an excuse for our loss. Recap of plays that lead to the touchdowns is key here. Two Vegas players were blocking down the field after a screen pass that lead to the 1st TD. The Ref saw it and says, " If there is no contact then it isn`t blocking" Does that mean our defensive player has to run through the up coming blockers in order to get a blocking call? Did not make sense. Another call was on the snap, the ball bounced on the ground "once" and the Ref allowed the play to continue. Has this rule changed within a week, if so thanks for letting everyone know and good job changing it during the season and not after. Last but not least, I have to send a shout out to the 75 year old ref, you guys hired a ref to make the worse 4 and inch call I have ever witnessed in flag. PASS INTERFERENCE! This ref was not only in NO position to make that call, three players in his direct view with the center`s back towards him trying to make the catch. Our LB cut in front of the ball had two hand both on the ball and dropped the pick. PASS INTERFERENCE! The Vegas Nites were even shocked at the call and a couple players looked at me and said, "man i don`t want to win this way, sorry" Not one player on the nites were complaining of interference before the call. At that point, the game was 7-0 the Nites were in scoring position, of course after the call, they scored two plays later. In a game that is only 45-55 minutes long and each team being granted anywhere from 3-6 positions, you cannot have refs out there that are not experienced, old, or push overs because at the end all the work put into a season can be lost due to one guys mistake. I will take the loss only because the Nites played well, but you do not make a 4 and inch, pass interference call and not give the other team a chance. Its the playoffs!! Very dissappointed in the money we spend and what we get.

You will "take the loss"?? What other choice do you have?? Don`t say your not making excuses for losing cuz this whole message is full of them. We had no problems w/the officials out there you are just still bitter but you got one thing right: the better team won. Take some lessons from your team mates who posted in the other message and know how to lose with honor and not like a crying *****.

I`m sorry but I have to comment again on "take the loss" that`s rich(and arrogant as hell). I didn`t know that the losing team had to sign off on the score to make it official.

The one hop rule has been in effect the whole season.

Hello, Excuses? Are you trying to stir thing up? United 22 (stated in his 2nd sentence) that Vegas was the better team, and won. Damn, you are an idiot.
With that said, it`s more about overall poor officiails. When one official throws a flag every other play, and another doesn`t throw a flag the entire game, and let`s the players `go at it` down the field, there is an issue. It`s not about crying, or being a bad sport, it`s about getting refs out there that know what they are doing.

This is bigger than the United/Vegas game. Stop bashing, and understand the bigger picture.

Specific complaints about game officiating should be directed by the coach or team manager to the league via email.

We did receive an email yesterday from someone on your team and we will reply to the coach.

To be fair, we also received an email from a coach complimenting the Herndon officiating crew.

Excuses, I can understand, but take the loss? Honor? man whoever wrote is should really shut their mouth. I have been in this league and played against alot of teams and always been a sportsman. I posted half of those messages giving Vegas their props for a good game. I have never seen such a poor call made at a time in the game that is not necessary unless you’re trying to end it on purpose. That’s all I am trying to say. Excuse I can comprehend, but honor? You must not have any to bring it up.
