How did Mutiny put up 50 points today?

their defense is pretty stingy, doesnt give up much down the field. but i didnt know they had an offense like this...

What happened to the blowout rule?

How can the Lions put up 40 and Mutiny put up 50 points. What about the blowout rule. My team wasn`t even allowed to kick an extra point one game. If this is a point league and the points help your position in the playoffs. They should only get the point allowed in the blow out rule.

Mercy rule for most of the game (outside of the last 2 minutes) is 35 points. Lions won by 34, and I can point to quite a few games on the schedule where a team won by a similar margin.

Not sure what happened with the Mutiny game. The max margin of victory under the current rules would be 40 points (i.e. your team is up by 34 and returns an INT for a TD at which point the game is over)

The D scored 28 points. We only had 21 or 28 at half time. They scored once and the Refs let us play the whole game. So Tom you may need to talk to the Refs. They let us keep playing. I did not try and run up the score. The D just keep scoring.

You mean the refs for the game didnt know the rules??? Wow, thats really a shock. These guys (with one or two noteable exceptions) have been a joke the entire season.

Mutiny played a very respectable game. That being said, playing 7 on 8 with no subs did not bode well for us. We played our hearts out but simply were outmanned. We are a young team with great talent but have lost a lot on our roster due to numerous circumstances. Needless to say, we have enjoyed this year and will be back next round with a good core.
