Pain and Legacy will cover both games and do not think that the top novice teams could not finish over 500 in the main league.

Don`t delude yourself baller. Just ask some teams who have moved up this year.

what? | 2:38 PM |
You think Gimpy will beat Frontline by 20 points? I garentee you have not ever seen those teams play then.

No, Frontline is favored by 20. How do you guys make it life without the basics?

Baller, I agree with you. Some of the top Novice teams could COMPETE (we`re not saying win it all nor are we saying they`d get blown out) with the main league. Just because teams are in the Novice league doesn`t mean they suck.

question | 09:14 AM |
Do you guys know who moved up to A from the novice and had a winning record? It has happened!
|
|
|
not so far | 09:41 AM |
Last year fall c winner in Fairfax was ccpc and this spring goes under the union...0-1 of course it`s early but I don`t see them going to far with the long ball...

MuddDawgs and Going Deep both played in the C league and did well in A the following season.

A great C team is the same as an average A team. They can move up and play .500 ball because there are some teams in A that don`t belong. 70% of the A league teams wouldn`t go undefeated in C. The other 30% will dominate the C league.

I`m putting my money on Who`s Next not losing another game this season. I know I sound crazy, but something about that young squad worries me

Reality Check-
If you guys think a C team would compete and be .500 in the A league, you haven`t played up there yet. There is a big difference between Spring A (IFFL) and fall A (FCFFL) as well. In the spring you have a few (2 or 3) true A teams and you have a ton (35 or so) of B/C teams, ranging from very strong to really bad. I am not knocking any team out there but if there is a BIG difference.
If you don`t think so, just ask the Rhinos and Larrys. Not taking anything away from these 2 teams, as they are both strong and competetive, and two of the most respected around. They made the jump to fall A in the FCFFL last year, and got hammered. I`m sure they would agree, it is a different game up there.
If you still believe you could compete up there, DO IT, don`t talk about it!!
Be honest with yourself-
In the IFFL`s 11 year spring history, when was the last time a C team moved up and won the spring league? How about NEVER! When was the last time a C team moved up and even made the final 4? How about NEVER! Infact, with the exception of the Rhinos, Larrys, and Outcast, *NO OTHER B TEAM* has ever even made the final 4 in the spring!
Side Note for Diddy-
"70% of the A league teams wouldn`t go undefeated in C."
News flash!!!
My Plumber, Sharks, Lazy, Kilroys, Kerns, NOVAs would all go undefeated and completely dominate the C league! As would a few of the retired A teams in their day - R. Raiders, C. Raiders, Pitbulls!

Hey N/A,
You`re a moron who obviously lack basic reading comprehension.
First, This is the IFFL board, if you want to talk about Fairfax Fall league go to that message board. We`re talking about the spring A league.
Second, you basically proved my point. "In the spring you have a few (2 or 3) true A teams and you have a ton (35 or so) of B/C teams, ranging from very strong to really bad" -- 2 or 3 teams are the the 30% that will dominate, (35 or so) are the 70% who wouldn`t go undefeated in the C league.
Next time, read the thread 2 or 3 times, make sure you understand. Hell, ask your 7 yr old sister to explain it to you. Then post a reply.

Diddy-
First, I know you are excited to wright me back, but slow down a bit. It`s lacks not lack, so don`t talk to me about comprehension...lol
Second, 3 out of 39 is not 30%...it`s about 7%. As 36 of 39 is not 70%...it`s about 92%.
Third, if your going to use the term A team, use it in the correct context. Just b/c the spring league says A, doesn`t mean your a true A team! Most teams play in both leagues ANYWAY.
Last, your beloved C teams will NEVER win a championship at the spring IFFL A level!
"Moron"....nice, what are you, a third grader?

N/A, did you just correct him on lack and lacks...but use the word "wright" instead of the correct "write"? Ha ha. You are all too much.

Diddy | 1:40 PM |
I take it you didn`t read the thread multiple times as instructed. Wait till your sister`s home from day care and have her explain it to you. Or read my posts again and tell me where I said they`ll win A. Or even where I said they`ll have a winning record. I said they could play .500 ball.

|
Tie Goes to Diddy | 2:15 PM |
He`s got you there, N/A. Diddy DID say that a C team could compete at the A level and possibly go .500. He never said they would dominate and/or win it all...

Boys, I think he trying to say that there is no true A level in the spring.
