How many feet do you have to have in bounds for a touch down, 1 or 2.

Are you sure it is two? I have played in two games where at one time we were told you only needed one and then at a later game we were told we needed two.Rob,Tom or Shay- please confirm.Thanks.

You definitely need 2. If you played on the Herndon field on weeks 1 or 2 they may have been some confusion. But otherwise VFFA style is 2 feet in bounds for a TD

How about this one. Last week, we scored a TD by one ref because the ball broke the plane of the endzone only to be called back by the other ref saying the flag had to break the plane. Flag? I thought all football was universal about TD`s. Isn`t the ball breaking the plane?

No, in flag your hips have to break the plane. Or hip has to break the plane. When spotting the ball, officials theoretically spot the ball where your hips end up and not the ball.
