The IFFL Competitive league has 28 teams and the top 16 teams will go into the "A" Playoffs with the remaining 12 teams going to the "B" playoffs.

For the "A" Playoffs the top 3 teams in each division will qualify along with the best overall remaining 4 teams from all the division. Teams will be ranked from 1 to 16 from win-loss records, then point differential and highest seed plays lowest seed in a single elimination format.

One more thing the TOP 4 seeds for the "A" Playoffs will be from the regular season division winners. So to be seed 1 thru 4 in the "A" playoffs you must win your division. The remaining teams will be seeded 5 thru 16.

How does the non-divisonal game impact the determination of the division winner?

Non-divisional game counts as a regular season game in the overall record. As far as division winner it would go:

1 overall record (to include non division game)

2 head to head so if your tied with a team in your division with a record of 6-1-0 then head to head competition is tie breaker between the two teams.

3 If it is a three way tie within the division for first place or if two teams are tied for first and tied each other in the head to head competition during regular season (5-1-1) then the divisional record is the next tie breaker.

4 If all three teams have the same divisional record and then the fourth tie breaker is the point differential, which is all points scored subtracted by all points allowed.

5 If teams have the same point differential, then it`s team with most points scored and if they are even after that it will be a coin toss.
