Diesel improves to 4-1 on the season, while The Penetrators drop to 4-1.
The victory continues a 3 game winning streak for Diesel which now stands at 4 wins in a row.
This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by The Penetrators. The loss ends a 4 game winning streak for The Penetrators.
Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Oct 26 2008, 08:00, a IFFL - Reston/Fairfax Fall League "B" playoff game which Diesel won 33-7.
Next up for Diesel is Ligers (3-2). That game is scheduled for Jul 31 2011, 16:00 at Lake Fairfax#4.
The Penetrators will face off against Collision (3-1) on Jul 26 2011, 21:00 at Poplar Tree #2.

07/25/11 12:45 | It was a good game. 14-10 at half. After Diesel went up 21-10 they relaxed and we tried to force things.
Diesel took advantage of their opprotunities and we did not. simple as that. they had one or two bounces go their way, but you gotta be in the right position for a bounce to go your way.
The lucky play they are referring to is just a broken up pass that bounced towards another receiver there to make the catch.
Hopefully we will see them in the playoffs. |

07/25/11 17:35 | Pens have a decent squad and will compete for the championship in the summer. this game was a lot closer than the score shows. Those lucky bounces really were lucky bounces that bounced luckily into the hands of the diesel players. All in all good game and if they meet in the playoffs I bet pens come back hungry.
