I am really impressed with your 2 top teams points scored and allowed numbers. But were they against good teams.

I feel coming from a small division really makes Badboyz stronger.

2 Games against Playmakers, 2 Games against Vegas nights, and 1 Game against Rhinos.

Thats 5 tough games out of 7. It seems like the VA brackets are very top heavy. 2 good teams beat up on the 4 weak teams. Thats great for your stats and record. But try playing against quality teams every week. See if you can go undefeated. Badboyz vs Playmakers is basically like saying Novas vs Rhinos. And we have to do that 2 times a year not just the playoffs. I do believe the Rhinos camp realizes this, and that the game benefits them as much as us no matter who wins. It exposes them to some better talent than they have probably seen all year long, as a tune up for the playoffs. And it prepares Badboyz for the Best that VA has to offer. Thats why I am glad they volunteered to come to MD and play.

you will see what I mean this week, Badboyz will put up more points against the Rhinos than they have allowed all season. Dont get me wrong its going to be a hard fought game and either team can win, but its not going to a game against one of the lower tear teams.

I will also gurantee no footballs will be stolen or Carjackings will occur...I`ll give the Orange jersey guys a pass. If anyone tries to Carjack you guys just say you are cool with Scarry Larry.

There is some truth to what you say but the VA teams are all playoff battle tested. Don`t count on putting a lot of point up on the Rhinos though because while those MD team have good offenses the defenses are not top tier.

PLAYMAKERS too

Not easy it is the most hard hittin division. And don`t forget becuse PLAYMAKERS 3-0 against Novas. that is the team they do not want to see in the playoff and now u see why!

I agree. The Playmakers can never be counted out and have played us extremely tough in years past. To be fair though, I can only remember losing to them once with our regular squad. The IFFL database is far from complete so the 0-3 record currently shown is a little misleading. Our IFFL team has traditionally been a split squad (and is again this year with only about half of our Fall starters participating), with our Fall Fairfax team representing the best we have to offer.

The two games against them that I remember best where we both were playing with full squads was the Inaugural IFFL Fall Season of 2000 in the DC Division. The Playmakers smoked us in the regular season, handing us our only regular season loss, but we bounced back to shut them out in the championship game.

Obviously that was a long time ago, but a core group of players from both squads still remains (I actually haven`t seen the Playmakers play this year, so I`m just guessing that their core is still together).

Back to the Badboyz: The fact that they have hung two losses on the Playmakers and Vegas Nights this year has got to make them a serious contender. If they can beat a full Rhinos squad this weekend then they would almost have to be considered the favorite.

reality check

why would either Bad Boyz or Rhinos show what they`ve really got when there is a great possibility they might see each other in the playoffs? This game means nothing. If I`m in their situation I would play this as a friendly scrimmage or tune-up....it`s an interesting game but no way either team is that stupid to go all in.

why not

show everything you got, your telling me that every team out here isn`t looking to play there best week in and week out, I don`t see Rhinos taking it lite no matter who the competition is, I understand not running up the score if you already have a game won but come on not going all in is a retarded statement

2 why not

best time to run gadget or practise plays. you still wanna win, but if you can give a prospective opponent something else to prep for, or you can work on some new plays against a quality opponent when there`s nothing on the line - it`s what`ll make the meaningful games that much better for you.

I can assure you, that although BadBoyz understand this is a exhibition game. None of us drive to the field to play half assed. I am sure the Rhino`s arent going to drive to MD to play half heartidly either. I am personally looking forward to this weeks game...I am sure its going to be a good game.

I think in the future if MD and VA are going to be in the same playoffs we should have some inter league games that do count towrads the schedule. More games different teams...how can that not be good??

Good luck to all the teams coming over here this week. We are very curious to see the Playmaker Wolves game as well.

To "Novas New Player" shut the hell up. If you really are a member of our team, you should know that we don`t talk sh*t, especially on this message board. We`ve always had a good reputation of busting our a** on the field and not causing a ruckus off of it. We don`t need you screwing that up. If you aren`t a member of our team, quit hiding behind that name.

Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs.
